Visiting the Museum
Where to find us
The museum is situated at the Toowoomba Hospital site in the building that previously housed the Acute Psychiatric Unit and, prior to that, the Maternity Wards - known as the "Old APU" or the "Old Mothers' Hospital". This building is opposite the current Pharmacy and the Museum entrance is at the western end of it.
A carpark is available.
There is wheel-chair access to the museum but disabled visitors should be dropped off at its entrance prior to parking in the multi-storey carpark at the front of the hospital on Pechey Street.
Admission
Admission is available to individuals or groups and is free.
Hours
The Museum is open from 12 noon to 2 pm on the first Wednesday of each month or by appointment, which can be arranged by calling the Hospital Foundation office on 07-4616-6166
