Friends of the Museum
Our museum is a work in progress and we welcome suggestions, stories, donations of appropriate objects and offers of assistance.
Our 'Friends' group is important to us and we would welcome your involvement. It is through this group that you can contribute to the activities of the museum and ensure the preservation and promotion of hospital and health service history. Some of the valuable work done by our Friends includes:
- Staffing the museum on open days
- Cataloguing new exhibits
- Cleaning and preparing exhibits for display
- Acting as tour guides for visitors to the museum and hospital site
- Working on publications
- Serving on the Management Committee
- Fund raising
- Talking to school children about our history
